I’m a creative person. I enjoy creating and perfecting solutions to complex technical problems. In 2013 I created a web portal for our client, Verizon, to submit change orders for their retail security systems, which our in house support team processes daily. Previously these requests were submitted via email and were not structured and very often were incomplete. The web portal I designed and built, through a Business Intelligence platform(Logi Info by Logi Analytics), streamlined the forms submission process and has been praised by many Verizon Operations executives. It was so successful, the company I worked for was given the opportunity to take over the security at more than four hundred new retail locations(roughly 25% of Verizon’s total retail footprint). They now service 75% of all Verizon Retail locations and set the gold standard for the remaining 25%. Today the portal handles more than four thousand requests a month and saves Verizon one and a half million dollars a year. The Portal is SQL based and has access to all of our security systems to give the end users direct access to the information required to keep their security systems data up to date. The entire system was delivered without any bugs due to my rigorous testing methodology
